The Department of Neurology at the University of Missouri – Columbia is seeking a full-time tenure-track position at the level of Assistant Professor/Associate Professor or Professor with our neuroscience research group. For this position, areas of focus include, though are not limited to, neurocritical care and vascular/interventional neurology. Also expected will be participation in basic science training for medical students and residents.
About MU Neurology:
MU Department of Neurology offers comprehensive and multidisciplinary care in areas such as epilepsy, sleep disorders, movement disorders, neuromuscular diseases, comprehensive cerebrovascular disease, neurological intensive critical care, and headache. In addition, we have expertise in various subspecialty areas, including pediatric neurology, neuro-ophthalmology, neuropathology, neuro-rehab, and multiple sclerosis.
We have a strong relationship with Neurosurgery and PM&R as part of our comprehensive Neurosciences Service Line. This includes two endovascular neurologists, one vascular neurosurgeon, and four neurology-trained dedicated neurocritical care physicians. Our off site rehabilitation hospital has special certification in stroke and neurological injury rehabilitation.
